Hi, I'm Taylor

...the witch behind the camera. I am admittedly not one of those photographers who grew up with a camera in my hand, capturing memories, and knowing that this was what I wanted to do. Instead, I grew up an art lover altogether, painter, and after a yearbook class in 2012 I bought my first camera.

I always knew that creating was what I wanted to do, but I was never quite sure what path that would take for me.

The first several years of my photography journey were nothing marketable, but eventually I found my love for capturing love as art, and landed on wedding photography. I'm still a painter, so while photography allows me to find inspiration in some of life's most beautiful moments. It also gives me a unique quality of being able to bring an artists eye to your album.

On wedding days I hope to make you feel like I'm your friend. I'll joke with you, check your teeth, carry your dress, and make sure you look and feel your best. I won't cry at your ceremony or during speeches or get emotional while you share your first dance, but you'll know that I've got your back, pinky swear. I will encourage you when you need it, read the room to give you space to enjoy your wedding without feeling like you need to pose for me all day long, hop on your dance floor with the guests, and still manage to get the Pinterest-perfect poses you've wanted.

Basically, I'm here to support you and document your day, without making you feel like my photo-prop.
